About Us
DMC Allstars is an established cheerleading team & dance school now based in Stirling. The sports club was founded in Dunblane in 2009. We moved to a new studio in 2020 and expanded our classes. We have now moved to an even bigger and better equipped studio in the summer of 2024 and expanded our classes yet again. The studio is equipped with a sprung cheerleading floor and gymnastics equipment, as well as a Harlequin dance floor and full-length wall mirrors.
We are excited to welcome new athletes from Stirling and surrounding areas to join the DMC family.
We currently have classes available for school-aged children in allstar cheerleading, gymnastics and dance (pom dance, hip-hop and lyrical/jazz). We also have adult cheerleading and pom dance classes available. We have also recently introduced our new preschool class. Please check our timetable for class descriptions, times and prices.
The benefits of participating in allstar cheerleading & dance are immense. Over the last 15 years, I have witnessed the positive impact of the sport on the many young people who have been part of DMC. Aside from the obvious benefits to physical and mental health, there are many attributes that young athletes develop while participating. Cheerleaders learn of the importance of team work, accountability and self-discipline. They also develop self-confidence, leadership skills and social skills.
Over the last 15 years, the club has had many successes at competitions and been crowned National Champions multiple times. Though we are very proud of these achievements, we are not a results driven team. We believe in the importance of developing the self-confidence of our athletes irrespective of skill level or natural ability/athleticism. We will always encourage our athletes to be the best they can be without pressure or expectation.
